The award recognizes service to the Association over an extended period of professional involvement, not a single event or activity, and is presented to an individual at the annual conference.  No one may receive the award more than once.   Awarded only at such times as a suitable recipient is identified.  The Immediate Past President solicits nominations for this award from four immediate past award recipients and submits nominations to Executive Council for review/approval.  Approval by a majority of the Executive Council is necessary.  This award is not intended as recognition for PASFAA officers for their service in office.  It is given at the annual conference and recognized with a plaque.
