Coordinator of State Grant Programs and Scholarships
Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Coordinator of State Grant Programs and Scholarships position. The Coordinator of State Grant Programs and Scholarships is responsible for the administration of foundation scholarship programs available at the College and the PA State Grant Programs. This position serves as functional lead for foundation scholarship programs and interacts with students and various College departments, outside agencies and other sponsoring institutions. The Coordinator of Scholarships and Special Programs also serves as a backup to other Financial Aid Specialists, as needed. The Coordinator of Scholarships, and Special Programs serves in a critical role to support the College mission in providing student access to higher education. Reports to the Associate Director of Financial Aid.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 1. Education/Training/Work Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree required. • At least three (3) years of directly related experience at a higher education institution, preferably in financial aid. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Proficiency in technology applications including student information systems, internet, email, database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software experience 2. Specialized Knowledge & Skills: • Good working knowledge of academia. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to work with diverse individuals. • Understanding of the community college mission. • Strong technical skills
